Marissa stumbled upon farming while studying Food Systems and French at the University of Vermont. She was drawn to the intimate sense of place and perspective she found while working outside, with her environment. After graduating, she continued to work on organic vegetable and flower farms and landed at Killeen Crossroads farm in the winter of 2024. Marissa is passionate about finding efficient ways to maximize food and flower production, while maintaining environmentally and socially sustainable cultivation practices. 

When she is not farming, Marissa enjoys teaching and studying Yoga, traveling, hiking and swimming, or sharing a little sweet treat with friends!
